
International students put on a fashion show as entertainment during lunch
подиума, pasadizo, passerella, Laufsteg, πασαρέλα. All of this terminology mean runway, fashion runway to be exact.
The school hosted an international students fashion show where all students from completely different backgrounds united to stunt their stuff.
Kimiko Morrow participated in the show representing her country the United States of America.
Morrow saw this opportunity to be in the show as a way to educated and learn about all the different fashions from different areas.
Two friends asked morrow to join and she said yes with out hesitation.
“I did it because I love to dance and pop an i just though “why not,” Morrow said.
Morrow had never danced in public with all eyes on her, especially not in such a public are as the cafeteria during lunch hour.
“It was fantastic experience. It was mind blowing,” Morrow exclaimed.
No matter how nerve racking but adrenaline rushing the experience was morrow still managed to have a lot of fun.
“I had a blast! People were excited, I was excited it was amazing,” Morrow added on.
The show had dancing, showing, and an excess amount of talent.
The amount of students that participated was truly inspiring.
Fun was had at this event hosted by Jennifer Gruver, Student Activities Coordinator/Admissions, but it did have a sentimental purpose.
“[The international fashion show] brought me closer to people I’ve never met before and I finally got to know them,” Morrow said. “I made new friendships that I want to keep for as long as I can.”
“Overall a great show,” Morrow concluded.
