On your marks, Get set, Go.
Springtime has arrived which means that this dreary state will be blessed with some sunshine.
Since this wonderful thing called ‘nice weather’ is given to us so sparsely through out the year, we Washingtonians tend to spend every precious second of it outside.
We’ve got to soak up every last drop of sunshine before it goes away for the next nine months, right?
Well, luckily for you, there are many opportunities to enjoy such lovely weather in the month of April.
Running events such as the Cupcake Backwards Mile, the Color Run and Top Pot Doughnut
Dash have been planned for running and outdoor lovers alike.
All of these featured runs have their own special twist on them, adding an extra pizzazz to the activity. The Color Run brings all the colors of summer to participants and will be held in Seattle on May 13.
Both the Top Pot Doughnut Dash and the Cupcake Backwards Mile will be held in April, the Cupcake Mile on the 14th and the Top Pot Dash on the 29th.
These are not the only runs that are being put on, however as most organizations and towns around the state enjoy putting on these activities once the sun begins to shine more often.
Be sure to sign up for these runs soon, before the spots get taken. All of these runs are sure to be a blast and an excellent way to get out of the house and enjoy the rare bit of beautiful weather that this dreary state gets.
