Last issue, The Pioneer featured an article about e-cigarettes. This article portrayed e-cigarettes as a new way to quit, but did not mention that they are also a much safer and healthier alternative to cigarettes, not only for the smoker, but also for the environment.
First of all, smoke from an E-vape does not affect bystanders who could possibly inhale the smoke. E-cigarettes are only ‘lit’ while the person is pressing the button, so less smoke is in the air.
Also, instead of tar and chemicals destroying a smoker’s lungs and causing cancer and other diseases, the only contents that make up vape smoke are flavoring and nicotine. Vape smoke is much better for a person than cigarettes.
Many smokers or former smokers who have switched to E-vapes boast about the advantages the e-cigarette brings. For one, they can smoke inside a building without bothering anyone. Secondly, they don’t smell bad or taste bad to bug loved ones or friends. Lastly, flavors can be sold with different nicotine levels, or even no nicotine, so if a person wants to smoke without the addiction factor, they can.
Also, vape-smokers can get any flavor they want. Along with the hundreds of flavors, smoke shops that sell vapes usually also have accessories such as longer lasting batteries or chargers, fashionable mouthpieces, fancy cases, and lanyards that go around the neck or wrist.
