Don’t know what to do for the holidays? Want to give back to the needy? Well this is the perfect time of the year; Pierce College has multiple different drives going on.

In the front lobby near the welcome center there’s a food drive, where anyone can drop off some nonperishable foods and help some families that are in need. The Criminal Justice Club is also running a toy drive for needy kids, birth to 17, of Pierce county, they will be accepting donations until Dec. 5. Stop by the Criminal Justice department on the third floor of the Cascade and drop off some unwanted toys.

Puyallup Campus has also coordinated the first Thrift Shop, Gift Shop. Clothes, toys, games, and more can all be dropped off at the Student life Office in Puyallup. Every donation can be donated directly or used for credit during the sale Dec.4 and Dec. 5, everything will be marked under a dollar, and all leftover items then donated to St. Francis House.
