Big business propagates U.S. decades long thirst for oil

“America has an addiction to oil.” Says conspiracy theorist Edwin Black. While the words conspiracy can bring about speculation. Black takes the time to carefully lead an individual through a realistic and logical amount of investigative information.
For Black none of this is new. He’s spent over ten years researching and unraveling conspiracies that have been hidden for decades. On Wednesday, Oct. 17, Black spoke about the ‘Internal Combustion’ and the dependency society has always had on its resources.
From the days of using wood for heat and a commodity, to the time that wood became sparse, “Giving rise to the first fuel shortage in the 1600’s.” said Black. It’s then that wood as outlawed by kings and became a valuable commodity only available to the rich.
The world then turning to poisonous coal as a source of heat, but coal needed to be mined, which brought in businessmen and capital, causing the rich to get richer.
Coal gave way to the steam engine and the Industrial Revolution was born.
“Trains opened up the country side,” and closed the distance between cities. Electricity soon followed giving a whole new perspective to businesses’.
“We don’t need to reinvent the wheel, we need to unbury it.” Said Black, referring to the use of electric cars.
Black revealed, that in 1835 the first electric car was invented, but bankers and businessmen worked toward monopolizing the automobile industry. Making it such a luxury, which only the rich could afford.
Henry Ford changed the car industry when he invented mass production for the common man. Ford had every intention of moving to electric automobile, but was prohibited by the monopolizing car companies. Soon the electric cars where renamed, ‘sissy cars’ and a huge revolution abounded for consumers.
During this time back dealing and sabotage became a standard for doing business. Fat cats paid off judges, burned buildings and discredited competitors.
