It centers around Catherine, [played by Jaquie Leon] the possibly mentally ill daughter of Robert [Forest Nameniuk] a recently deceased mathematician and university professor.
Catherine thinks she may be headed down the same path her father ventured down during is bouts of mental illness.
While the character of Catherine struggles with her constant mood swings and abrupt paranoid tendencies, Jacquie Leon demonstrates a remarkable talent for transitioning her character’s personality from one mood sing to another with effortless ease, giving the audience a realistic perception of the character.
Jessica Lamb brings to life Catherine’s controlling and concerned sister Claire, who intends to sell her father’s home and bring her ill sister back with her to New York.
Forest Nameniuk who plays the dead, mentally ill father that the play revolves around, brings a humorous and endearing quality to the play. He lightens the subject matter.
Ammanfil Oreta, as the character of Hal Dobbs, unifies the conflicting worlds of Catherine as he shows her that the internal conflict she’s going through doesn’t rest completely on her shoulders.
