This thursday, Feb. 6, volunteers are needed to conduct mock-interviews with 16 international students looking for internships in the near future.
The students in question are here on a federal grant called the Northwest Community College Initiative lasting ten months for cultural and professional learning, and before they apply for internships they are seeking practice with a job-interview scenario. They will be applying in the areas of media, business and early childhood education.
Volunteers will be provided with interview questions and a rating sheet to provide feedback to the student. It is best that the interviewer does not know the students very well so that the experience will feel more authentic.
The available times are as follows
2-2:30
2:30-3
