Pierce College will be recognizing their former outstanding athletes

Three athletes, two teams, and two coaches will be honored and inducted into the Pierce College Hall of Fame for the class of 2014.
Coach Darin Gearhart (Men’s Basketball), Coach Roberta Kalalau (Volleyball), and athletes Anthony Adams (Basketball), Yukari Kuranuki (Softball), and Tim Wahl (Baseball) will all be honored at the event. The 1989-90 Men’s Basketball team and the 1998 Volleyball team will also be included.
The Pierce College Athletics Hall of Fame was established in 2009. Its purpose to is recognize and honor the outstanding achievements of former student-athletes, the meritorious efforts of coaches, staff, alumni, and other individuals who demonstrated outstanding support or dedicated service to the athletic programs of Pierce College.
The banquet will take place on Saturday, April 26 with the reception starting at 6pm and the dinner beginning at 7pm. It will be held in the Health Education Center. Students are encouraged to come and show support.
Reservations will be $35 per person and children’s reservations (under 12) for $20 per child. Those wishing to attend must RSVP by April 15. The event will be sponsored by the Pierce College Foundation to support the Raider Athletic Booster Club.
