Center Field player, Jeff Nelson, dressed as Uncle Si from Duck Dynasty, and said “It was fun getting the team together and not playing a serious game.” Pitcher, Heath Dempsey dressed as batman and played in the in field said, “I enjoyed giving back to our supporters, what they give to us.” Coach Kevin Davis enjoyed the game saying, “It gives our players a chance to let loose, have fun and take a little break from the ‘serious’ college baseball life. My favorite part is obviously, seeing all the different costumes and characters that the guys come up with and then watching them “try” to play softball in them.” The boys raised $5,000 and plan on holding another Halloween game next year.
