During this quarter’s wild Club Fair on the Puyallup campus, students gathered stamps for their passports, retrieved giveaway items, and learned more about the clubs on campus.

The day was filled with students who joined a stamping quest in the Jumanji-themed event in the College Center, which was decorated with vines dangling in doorways, tables with animal print covers and a stage set up for photo booth shots.
Students who gathered enough stamps on their passports by visiting the featured clubs’ tables received a free spray-painted hat or t-shirt and a caricature of themselves.
Club Fair participants who visited the Student Media table were not only able to play the Pachinko-style game but also earned prizes after answering questions about potential content for The Pinnacle, Student Media’s print magazine distributed on campus.
“Students show interest in what is going on campus,” said Laura Taylor, student engagement manager for leadership development and Student Media.
Iopu Ignacio, student empowerment programs engagement manager/clubs and organizations, accidentally had an interesting time during the day. It was during lunch featuring a baked potato bar.

As he was eating his baked potato, some OSL student leaders wanted to show him something, and as he stood, his fate was sealed when he bumped into the table, sending his baked potato crashing to the ground.
Ignacio watched in horror before falling to his knees, sorrow washing over him.
